He glanced at her for a fleeting second, before returning his attention to the oncoming riders. They passed and re-passed, she with rigid body, her chin bent down, and he always in the same pose, his figure curved, his elbow rounded, his chin thrown forward. The following Austin-area restaurants have playscapes:
- Central Market on 4001 N. Lamar - In addition to the great outdoor play area and large picnic area, there are lots of events, mostly music. The beauty of Central Market is that you can also get your grocery shopping done here too.
- Phil’s Ice House at 5620 Burnet Rd. w/Amy’s Ice Cream next door - This is a great combination… good burgers, ice cream and a outdoor playscape and shuffleboard. During the summer, Phil’s host movie nights.
- Ski Shores Waterfront Cafe at 3907 Pearce Rd. - nice water front views.
- Rudy’s at 2451 Capital of Texas Hwy. - huge lawn out back.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention some of the fast food places with playscapes.
- McDonalds
- Burger King
